Trendy Signature Photoshop tutorial
Final result:
Step 1:
Create a new file that is 350 pixels wide and 19 pixels high.
Step 2:
Fill the layer with a gradient or solid color.
Step 3:
Create a new layer. Use the elliptical marquee tool to make a selection that is the shape and size of the one pictured below, then fill it with white.
Step 4: drop the opacity of that layer to 25%.
Step 5:
Create a new layer and fill it with white scanlines, then drop the opacity to 25%.
Step 6:
Add text to the right side of your image. We used 10pt Arial with a 1pt black stroke.
Step 7:
Now, create a layer above your base color/gradient layer, but below the scanlines and ellipse layer and insert a picture that represents what your signature is about. We used a graphic from our header image.
Step 8:
Last but not least, draw a 1px black border around your signature and the outcome should look something like this:
