Blow up an image for print Photoshop tutorial

Step 1 : open a 300ppi image in Photoshop CS (CS only) that you would like to blow up.

Step 2 : go to 'Image > Image Size'

Turn on 'Scale Styles', 'Constrain Proportions' & 'Resample Image'.
Change (the) 'Resample Image' (interpolation method) to 'Bicubic Smoother'.
Switch both (unit of measurement) pop-up menus for 'Document Size' to 'percent' and type in 110, to increase your pic in a 10% increment.

Step 3 : I suggest you create a custom 'Action' for this increase-by-10% technique for it might take as much as 10 to 15 passes to convert your image up to poster size.
